“15 pounds fentanyl, 1 pound heroin, 130,000 cash” now in the parking lot of a Northern California high school

Alameda County Sheriff saidcaliforniaWestoakland(also translatedauckland), four suspects were arrested and 15 pounds of the opioid fentanyl, one kilogram (2.2 pounds) of heroin and $139,000 in cash were confiscated in a car in the parking lot of McLemonds High School.

The official Twitter account of the Sheriff’s Office insisted that the incident had nothing to do with McLemonds High School. Drug trafficking within 1,000 feet of a school is an additional offense. Police expect additional charges to be made.


A few days earlier, the Sheriff’s Office and other agencies of the Alameda County Narcotics Task Force seized $4.2 million worth of illegal fentanyl in Oakland and Hayward. The investigation of the case has been going on for months, and several arrests have been made during the operation.
