Arrested for felony vandalism at downtown coffee shop

San Diego police arrested a man on suspicion of vandalism early Wednesday after a window at a coffee shop was broken.

Police officer David O’Brien said the suspect allegedly pulled several parking meters from concrete foundations just before 2:45 a.m. and threw them out the window of Achilles Coffee Roasters on B Street near Eighth Avenue .

The business was closed at the time.

Police located the suspect and arrested him, O’Brien said.
