MANCHESTER – Alan Shearer believes Manchester United players conspired to let Ole Gunnar Solskjaer carry the burden on his own. It can be seen when the Red Devils did not move against Watford at Vicarage Road, Saturday (20/11/2021) night WIB.

In the 2021-2022 Premier League match, MU was defeated by a score of 1-4. Shearer said that Man United‘s players did not seem to have the desire to give the best results to Solskjaer. They are also said to have lost respect for the Norwegian coach.

“It’s quite clear from their attitude and appearance that the players don’t want their coach. They have stopped running for him. They have lost respect for the coach (Solskjaer),” said Alan quoted by the Daily Mail, Sunday (21/11/2021).

“And when you have players who come out and say they don’t know what to do with the ball, then it’s a lie because it’s like they don’t have a plan or no tactics,” added the 51-year-old.

Shearer also highlighted the Man United players who seemed to have no intention of getting a win. This is considered to show that they are not thinking about Solskjaer’s position as coach.

“But the players can go out, they can run around, they can have fun and they can have attitude, but they don’t have it. So it tells you what they think about the coach.”

The match against Watford was the end of Solskjaer’s journey to see and give instructions to the Red Devils players on the touchline. Because, today, Sunday (11/21/2021), MU confirmed that Solskjaer had left his position as coach.

“Manchester United can confirm that One Gunnar Solskjaer has left his role as manager,” wrote United‘s Instagram account.
