Dak Prescott’s performance this year will determine whether the Dallas Cowboys make it to the Super Bowl.

With the NFC down to some extent, what better time for Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys to take advantage of the situation at hand?

While Dallas’ offseason hasn’t been perfect, the Cowboys should be the favorite team in the NFC East this year. While the Philadelphia Eagles would be a real threat, as would the Washington commanders under Carson Wentz’s center, Dallas’ lineup could win not just the division, but multiple playoff games. It must be an NFC championship game look or bust.

If the Cowboys want to get into the best spot in the playoffs, Prescott will have to play well in these three noteworthy regular-season games.

3. Week 6: Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, October 16)

While it remains to be seen how the Washington Commanders perform this season, the Cowboys must maintain their dominance over the Philadelphia Eagles in division play. While a series apart from The Birds wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world, this year is all about changing the narrative for the Cowboys. That’s why they had to beat the Hawks early at their position.

Well, this will be prime time week 6, with the potential for early season bragging rights. If Philly keeps serve at home, it will give the Eagles the confidence to go into their Christmas Eve road game in Dallas, potentially taking control of the division game. That’s why the Cowboys need to give their all and have a great first half to start the season on a good note.

Prescott may be a bit of a prototype for Philadelphia center Jalen Hurts, but he’s someone who’s already made big bucks. The last thing Dallas wants is their latest version of a quarterback, like a duel with him in an independent prime-time game. If Prescott can get into a hostile road environment and win, that bodes well for the playoffs.

It might be an early-season game, but a win in Philadelphia will set the tone for the NFC East.
