East Oakland 7 Yuhua merchants stolen, “reported to police for 3 hours”

Eastern Northern Californiaoakland(also translated as Auckland)VietnamOn the morning of August 1, thieves broke into seven Vietnamese overseas Chinese merchants at the International Business Plaza in the Little Saigon Community and a Chinese merchant’s vault was removed, causing losses of at least 100,000 yuan. The property of seven merchants was stolen, plus maintenance costs, at least 200,000 yuan were lost. According to KTVU, eyewitnesses said they called the police around 4.30 am. But according to police the dispatchers were not informed till 6:20 am. By the time the police arrived at 7.15 am, the thieves had fled the spot.

In other words, the police reached the spot after 2 hours 45 minutes (about 3 hours) of calling the police to nab the thief. The Oakland Police Department said at least five burglars drove three vehicles with guns and stole some cash and fled. There are three cars a white BMW, a black BMW and a silver Honda.

This isn’t the first time that the security of the Little Saigon community has turned red. This newspaper has reported on it several times. Police also recently announced that a Vietnamese-speaking bilingual police officer would be deployed in the Little Saigon community. Unsurprisingly, a serial theft occurred on the 1st. The seven stolen businesses were all overseas Chinese in Vietnam. A merchant’s vault was removed, and the owner lost 100,000 yuan and sat on the ground crying. The Oakland China Promotion Association is also preparing to hold a press conference with the Vietnamese community to condemn the atrocities and to provide resources for police to fight crime.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that at least five people got out of at least three vehicles prior to the theft, the police statement said. These people left the area with cash and guns. According to surveillance video provided by the merchant to this newspaper, four thieves appeared, some guards, some attacked, and finally fled with their belongings.

The three vehicles the five sat in were: a 2010 white four-door BMW with tinted windows (referring to the film’s application to darken the windows), mismatched silver wheels on the driver’s side, and right And a break. The lights are not working, there is a paper rear license plate, and there is no license plate on the front of the car. The other car is a silver four-door Honda with silver gray wheels, tinted windows and a black license plate frame. The third car is a new four-door black BMW, with black wheels with chrome rims.
