“Final preparations for this weekend. Thank you, Indonesia,” wrote Toprak on his Instagram, @toprak_tr54, Thursday (11/18/2021) night WIB.
Apparently, he did this to minimize the tension he would face this weekend. The reason is, the last series of races in Mandalika will determine whether he can win the 2021 WSBK world title or not.
As is known, currently the 25-year-old racer is entrenched at the top of the 2021 WSBK standings. He is 30 points ahead of his closest rival, Jonathan Rea.
If, Toprak manages to come out as champion then he will break Rea’s six consecutive titles previously. For information, the last WSBK 2021 race in Mandalika will take place on Sunday (11/21/2021) starting at 10.00 WIB.
