MU is looking for a new coach after sacking Solskjaer on Sunday (11/21/2021). A number of names had circulated, such as Zinedine Zidana and Leicester City architect, Brendan Rodgers. The Ten Hag is included.

Regarding this news, Ten Hag conveyed his clarification. The Dutch tactician admitted that he was still focused on managing Ajax, especially in the Dutch League.

“I’m still focused on my team (Ajax Amsterdam). We have a brilliant squad and we want to achieve many things,” explained the 51-year-old coach, reported by the Manchester Evening News.

Ten Hag insists he wants to help Ajax achieve success in the 2021/2022 season. Understandably, his troops have a great chance to dominate the Dutch League.

The success of beating RKC Waalwijk 5-0 made Ajax occupy the first position in the Dutch League standings this season with 30 points, on par with PSV Eindhoven.

Ajax is also still surviving in the Champions League by qualifying for the knockout stages. This is why, Ten Hag still has no intention of changing clubs.

“You keep asking me (about the position as coach of Ajax). Yes, it’s a strange question. I’ve never heard of it (MU’s interest). So, I can’t think about it,” explained Ten Hag.
