Hockey/Kobayashi are actually not superior in the 2021 Indonesia Badminton Festival series. However, they have the status of the Indonesia Masters 2021 champions. Even more terrifying, both of them can be called Indonesian men’s doubles conquerors.

Hockey/Kobayashi have stemmed many of the country’s men’s doubles. Even the world‘s number one and two pairs, namely Marcus Fernaldi Gideon / Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo and Mohammad Ahsan / Hendra Setiawan became victims.

Hockey/Kobayashi beat Ahsan/Hendra 11-21, 21-15 and 21-12 in the second round of the 2021 Indonesia Masters. After that, they defeated Marcus/Kevin in the final with a score of 21-11, 17-21 and 21-19.

Now in the first match of the Indonesia Open 2021, Hockey/Kobayashi got rid of Indonesia’s representatives again. Ahsan/Hendra for the second time in a row were defeated 23-21, 15-21, and 21-15.

Now, it’s Pramudya/Jeremiah’s turn to try out Hockey/Kobayashi’s abilities. Not wanting to be affected by the defeat of the seniors, the world number 28 pair will try their best to win.

“We’ve never met. So want to do as much as possible, as much as possible. I want to win,” said Pramudya at the Bali International Convention Center, Wednesday (11/24/2021).

“I want to try to focus on our style of play, then input from the coach may be available later,” added the Sukabumi-born player.
