ThailandA fire broke out at a nightclub in Chonburi province, southeast of Bangkok, on the 5th, killing 13 people and injuring 35 others, according to police.
Reuters reported that the nightclub named “Mountain Bee” had been open for a few months when the fire broke out at around 1 a.m. on the 5th. According toTwitterLive footage shown above shows those who cheered in the shop fled the burning building in panic, as the massive fire spread to the entire roof, and thick black smoke rose.
Preliminary investigations conducted by the local police revealed that 13 people had died in the fire. It is said that not only were affected by the fire, but those who were crushed while on the run also died. In addition, around 35 people were sent to the hospital for treatment.
