The Yogyakarta-born racer then had time to penetrate the 13th position. However, he then felt a technical problem with his Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle.

Moreover, there was rain at the end of the track. He also decided to go into the pits, right then and there. Unfortunately, the condition of the motorbike got worse and failed to finish in the home race.

“There was a technical problem. So I had to enter the pit. Then it was raining too. I entered the first time I felt there was a technical problem,” Galang told MNC Portal Indonesia.

“There was heavy rain in the last sector, and I just gambled, and all the while installing intermediate tires. However, when I came out and wanted to push, the technical problem was even worse and I had to enter the pits,” he said.

In fact, the racer with the number 55 was sure to win points. Understandably, this season the target is to get into the top 15, considering the competition is so tight.

“If you look at the timing, I should have finished in 13th position. I was at the last and advanced, then it rained. I started already poked in 13th position, but withdrew due to technical problems,” said Galang.
