Georgia Football: 3 Arch Manning Backup Plans to Keep the Bulldogs Competitive

Georgia Soccer lost the race to five-star quarterback Archie Manning, but they can still win the ultimate prize with a solid backup plan.

The Bulldogs went to great lengths to acquire Arch Manning. So when he committed to Texas on Thursday, it was an absolute disappointment.

Georgia fans are fine. Take a moment to release your grief, then grab your champion gear and enjoy it for the rest of the day.

The truth is, the Bulldogs have other options to make up for the loss of Manning.

3 Arch Manning Backup Plans for Georgia Football

Donte Moore or Dylan Lonergan

Two top-100 quarterbacks in the Class of 2023 were not drafted: five-star Dante Moore from Detroit and four-star Dylan Lonergan from Snellville, Georgia.

The Bulldogs made offers for both of them, but apparently, they’ve been putting all their attention on Manning and letting other schools know what’s going on with the pair.

Now that Manning is gone, Georgia should put a full-court press on Moore, especially Lonergan. The latter is expected to travel to South Carolina on July 5, but that could change quickly if he has the option of staying home.

Julian Sayin or Jadyn Davis or DJ Lagway

In fact, it may be too late to get one of the top QBs in the class of 2023. The good news is that the Bulldogs have a good quarterback position that includes potential players like Carson Baker, Brock Vandagreve and Gunners Stockton. 2023.

So, focusing entirely on the Class of 2024 may be the best option. Georgia has offered five-star passers-by Julian Sayin from California, Jadyn Davis from North Carolina and DJ Lagway from Texas.Davis and Lagway visited informally

Monitor Transfer Portal

Transport portals are unpredictable, so cannot be named at this time. However, you can believe that at some stage next year, there will be several coveted quarterbacks in the portal.

If Georgia really needs a QB, they can turn to a transfer. Its partnership with JT Daniels wasn’t perfect, but the move could be replicated and much more fruitful.
