Mir can only hope that Marquez recovers soon and returns to action on the track. However, Mir slightly doubted Marquez’s ability to fully return to win.
“The injury he got was a hit. Because it doesn’t affect the arm, but the vision. It is a vulnerable thing, and it seems that it still cannot be overcome,” Mir said as quoted by Tutto Motori, Wednesday (11/24/2021).
“He is one of the drivers who can handle it. His current condition is not at all good. As a racer, I don’t like the situation. I hope he recovers soon. We all want to win, but by beating all the riders on the track,” he said.
“I don’t know if he can win again. I’m sure he can do it, though I’ll try to stop him. He has great potential and won a lot of titles and is still young. He has time to recover,” said Mir.
