Allegri is happy that his team can implement the strategy he wants. But, on the other hand, Juventus is still not sharp in matters of final settlement.

You see, Juventus can win at home to Lazio through two Leonardo Bonucci penalties in 23 and 83 minutes. Allegri appreciates his team who played effectively even though they did not dominate the match.

According to statistics, the Bianconerri’s possession of the ball is only 42 percent, the rest belongs to the hosts. However, Juventus could have fired 11 shots, with five of them on target. While Lazio made eight attempts and only one was dangerous.

In addition, Alvaro Morata and colleagues also recorded fewer passes than Lazio. Team Zebra made 458 passes, while Lazio made 622 passes.

Allegri said an effective counter-attack was the key to Juventus’ victory. He can take advantage of the collective midfield and forward to launch a quick counter-attack. Dejan Kulusevski, Federico Chiesa, Morata and Moise Kean managed to take advantage of this scheme.

“I admire the spirit we showed, the only chance we gave Lazio was the counter-attack, because we had so many players going forward trying to score. This is why I say chances must be completed immediately, or else you will concede a goal,” said Allegri.

However, Allegri is still not completely satisfied with Juventus’ performance because he is not able to take advantage of the opportunities they get. He highlighted his foster children who were still not sharp in matters of final settlement.
