Design: Power and Portability

The Kovol Sprint 120W 4-Port PD (Power Delivery) GaN (Gallium Nitride) Charger weighs just under 448 grams (15.8 oz) and is extremely compact at 46 x 46 x 85 mm (1.81 x 1.81 x 3.35 inches) to make even the clutteriest desktop can also be installed. The charger features two USB-C 3.0 and two USB-A 3.0 ports and can charge up to four devices simultaneously.

Between its lightweight design and detachable 4.9ft (2.1m) AC input cable, this charger is clearly optimized for portability and can be easily wrapped and put in a bag as needed. Note that the 110 to 240 voltage compatibility of this charger makes it a top choice for international travel.

Thanks to its three green LED lights, you’ll know that any of the Kovol Sprint’s four USB ports are charging your device. What struck me was how reliable the device felt to the touch, even when charging multiple devices at the same time.

Thanks to its tech shielding surge, overcharge, and high temperature protection, I feel safe using this model to charge my most valuable tech.

full compatibility

While the Kovol Sprint Desktop Charger can seamlessly and quickly charge a variety of devices, its GaN fast-charging port is optimized for Apple’s latest models, including the MacBook Pro, iPhone 12, and iPad Pro. Other everyday driving devices like the Nintendo Switch and Samsung Galaxy S21 will also benefit greatly from Sprint’s fast charging times.

If your favorite mobile device isn’t on the list, don’t worry, because if it uses a USB-C or QC (quick charge) USB-A port, it will charge, just not as fast as those that can take advantage of GaN charging.

Smart charging

While this adaptive charger can quickly charge a range of devices, its great design safely reserves higher power for more powerful products, so your MacBook Air will get 45W of power while your Google The Pixel 6 will get 20W of power when charging together. It doesn’t matter if you charge 1 or 4 devices at a time, this charger has a maximum output of 120W and doesn’t exceed 100W on a single charge.

If both PD 3.0 USB-C ports are used at the same time, both devices will receive 60W of power each, allowing you to quickly charge both devices. Note that each QC 3.0 USB-A port reliably delivers 18W of power when used in pairs.

Not only does the Kovol Sprint 120W Charger keep your devices safe while charging, but its small yet powerful GaN technology can also charge the battery at breakneck speeds. For example, my iPhone is fully charged in less than an hour, while it charges a MacBook Pro in less than two hours. Unfortunately for 16-inch MacBook Pro owners, a USB-C cable designed with a 5A E-marker chip is required (but not included) to charge this laptop at the fastest advertised speeds.

Should you buy the Kovol Sprint 120W Desktop Charger?

No one likes switching multiple devices between a single charging port, but if you have the Kovol Sprint 120W Desktop Charger, you won’t be forced to choose between charging your laptop, smartphone or Nintendo Switch – you Will be ready to go with all three of these before you know it.

Small, convenient and powerful, this adaptable charger is a must-have for those who travel frequently and who need to use multiple devices at the same time and want to charge them all in record time.
