Los Angeles County firefighters last week rescued a bear trapped in the parking lot behind Six Flags Magic Mountain, officials said.

The fire department said in a news release that they worked diligently and patiently to free the bear over the next few hours. Firefighters used tools to remove a trailer after the bear was knocked unconscious.

Photos shared by the fire brigade showed an unconscious bear preparing to be transported. The fire department said the animal was safely removed by fish service personnel.
