MANDALIKA – World Superbike (WSBK) at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, has become a successful international sporting event held in Indonesia. Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said the race was watched by about 1.6 billion people worldwide.

“From the reports we received, the WSBK at the Mandalika Circuit was watched by 1.6 billion people in the world,” he said on the sidelines of his visit to the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok Regency, quoted Between, Sunday (11/21/2021).

Besides being watched by 1.6 billion people in the world, the committee said Luhut was very satisfied with the quality Mandalika Circuit . The reason is, as long as the event takes place from 19-21 November 2021, there are almost no significant obstacles.

“Even if there are improvements, we agree to fix them. Because in March there is MotoGP, so before March everything must be finished,” he said.

According to Luhut, the most important thing is that the existence of the Mandalika Circuit in Central Lombok Regency, NTB must be maintained. Because this circuit was built for the benefit and welfare of the community.

“So everyone is involved from the top down to the common people. Don’t say the government is not paying attention. The government from top to bottom is very attentive,” he said.

Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan was present at the Mandalika Circuit accompanied by a number of ministers including the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi , Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki, NTB Governor H Zulkieflimansyah, NTB Police Chief Inspector General Pol Mohammad Iqbal, and national entrepreneur Aburizal Bakrie.
