MANCHESTER – A series of matches in Europe‘s top leagues have taken place from Sunday night to Monday (22/11/2021). One of the highlights is the return of Real Madrid to the top of the table Spanish League 2021/2022 .

Real Madrid back to the top of the Spanish League standings after beating Granada with a score of 4-1. Marco Asensio (19′), Nacho (25′), Vinicius Junior (56′) and Ferland Mendy (76′) scored four goals for Madrid. Meanwhile, Luis Suarez scored one goal for Granada in the 34th minute.

Cross over to England, Manchester City managed to displace Liverpool’s position in the Premier League standings. Certainty was obtained after The Citizens crush Everton with a landslide victory 3-0.

Reheem Sterling (44′), Rodri (56′) and Bernardo Silva (86′) scored goals for Manchester City. The addition of three points brings Manchester City up to second place in the standings with a collection of 26 points from 12 matches, Pep Guardiola’s squad is only 1 point ahead of Liverpool.

From the French League, the big match between Olympique Lyon vs. Marseille was stopped in the 4th minute when the score was still in the eye due to the fans’ bottle throwing action. The action had injured Dimiti Payet who was about to take a corner kick.

Across to Italy, Napoli suffered their first defeat in the league after being beaten 2-3 at the headquarters of Inter Milan.
