NUSA DUA – Manchester United plan to contact Lokomotiv Moscow to finalize a deal over Ralf Rangnick’s future. This news was first reported by football observer Fabrizio Romano on his personal Twitter social media account.

“Manchester United board will contact Lokomotiv Moscow again today to finalize a deal for Rangnick – still feeling ‘optimistic’ #MUFC,” wrote Romano, Friday (11/26/2021).

Rangnick is said to have reached an agreement with MU to deal with Cristiano Ronaldo et al. The bespectacled coach will reportedly be offered a six-month contract.

After his six-month contract expires, Rangnick will not simply leave United. The man nicknamed The Professor is still working at MU as a football consultant.

“Ralf received new assurances from Man Utd for a future role as a ‘consultant’ with decision-making power after temporary employment,” Romano added.

Next season, Rangnick will serve on the advisory board of sporting director John Murtough and the next permanent coach. Currently, Rangnick is waiting for the administration of a work permit in the UK.

Rangnick was very enthusiastic about his new job candidate. So enthusiastic that he has already mentioned the opponent he will watch out for if he officially handles MU.

“Salah, Firmino and Mane. Three different players from different countries. When they joined Liverpool, they weren’t the type to push. So the way they play is the job of the coach and the coaching staff,” Rangnick told the Coaches Voice coaching course.

“The way Salah, Firmino and Mane have played over the last three or four years with a high level and intense game is the hand of the coach,” added Rangnick.
