MANDALIKA – Heavy rain again flushed the Mandalika Circuit. This situation also made the surface in the tribune area flooded, causing flooding in the tunnel leading to the stands.

This condition occurred after the Mandalika Circuit was again flooded with heavy rain on Sunday (11/21/2021). Due to these conditions, there were also seen some spectators who slipped, due to the slippery mud. Understandably, some of the land was also flooded so it was difficult to see the direction.

Muddy soil is not the only problem. The tunnel connecting the entrance to the track was also flooded. This made it difficult for many spectators to leave the track.

In fact, the officers have tried to clean up the remaining mud scattered in the tunnel. The mud was also piled up due to heavy rains that flushed the previous day.

Due to heavy rains, Race 2 WSBK Indonesia also had to be postponed for 1.5 hours. It was also inseparable from the cheers of the audience who wanted the race to continue.

However, the race was continued with a duration of only 12 laps. It was remembering that the time was getting closer to sunset and the track was getting dark.

Previously, WSBK Indonesia’s Race 1 was also postponed. From what was supposed to take place Saturday, it had to be postponed to Sunday. This makes the audience did not have time to watch the race.
