NASCAR 2022: Total prize money for the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway

After 12 action-packed race weekends in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season, the sport moved to Kansas for another thriller, AdventHealth 400.

Sunday’s race is expected to be exciting and uncertain, as the next generation of cars will race at Kansas Speedway for the first time. All of the drivers who will race will compete to win on the 1.5-mile three-oval track.

The action can be streamed live on FOX and MRN and will be broadcast live on Sunday, May 15 at 3pm ET.

In addition to the drive to win races, there will be solid monetary incentives to push drivers to the fore. This year, the Kansas Cup Series will take home $7,117,591, while NASCAR’s youngest series, the Truck Series, will take home $716,932.

On Twitter, motorsport reporter Bob Pockrass revealed the Kansas Cup Series and Truck Series prize money, saying:

“This weekend’s wallet for Kansas (includes all awards for each game awarded to Cup charter teams and amounts awarded to those teams based on performance over the past three years. Also includes contributions to the Points Fund). Cups: $7,117,591 Trucks: $716,932 Dollar”

On Saturday, May 14, the Kansas Cup Series will begin practice at 5:00pm ET, followed by qualifying at 5:35pm ET the same day. Both practice sessions and qualifying sessions will be broadcast on FS1.

Despite a DNF at Darlington Raceway last week, defending champion Kyle Larson kept the same dynamism and came out on top in another cup race.

Heading to Kansas, Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott, Danny Hamlin and Larson take the top spot in the standings, and according to data from Vegasinsider.com, all of these riders are paying Rates are +700.

William Byron and Ross Chastain, who have two wins in their first 12 matches, are at similar odds at +1000. Last week’s winner Joey Logano is third at 1200.
