NUSA DUA – Indonesia’s flagship men’s doubles Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan failed to advance to the round of 16 Indonesia Open 2021 . The second seeded pair was conquered by representatives of Japan, Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi with a rubber game, 21-23, 21-15, 15-21.

The match was fierce since the first round at the Bali International Convention Center, Wednesday (11/24/2021) afternoon WIB. However, Ahsan/Hendra struggled to beat the dominance of the Japanese pair.

After the interval, both pairs pushed themselves more and more to win the second game. However, Ahsan/Hendra were able to appear calmer and were able to win the second game 21-15 at the same time forcing the rubber game.

Both pairs brought out their best in the third game. Hard attacks continued to be carried out by both partners to lock up the victory. But Ahsan/Hendra played a little better and led 11-10 in the third game interval.
