Momota judged that Chou played at a fast tempo, which made it difficult for him in the first game. However, because he was able to analyze the opponent’s game quickly, he finally managed to get a positive result.

“The game from CTC was very fast so I had a little difficulty keeping up. But, I’m happy to win today, “said Momota to the media crew, Saturday (11/20/2021).
“Actually, CTC also usually plays differently so I just try to understand every game. So I was able to win thanks to that.”

In the semifinal match which took place at the Bali International Convention Center, the player from the State of Sakura did get fierce resistance from Chou in the first game. The pursuit of numbers continued to occur from the start even though he was able to close it with a score of 21-19.
Entering the second game, Momota can already read Chou’s game. As a result, he was far ahead and secured the second game with a score of 21-11 after playing for 46 minutes.
With these results, the 27-year-old player got a ticket to the final round. At the top party which will be held on Sunday (11/21/2021), Momota met the Danish representative, Anders Antonsen.
Despite his status as the first seed, Momota did not want to be happy. He emphasized that he will continue to show his best game in the top party later.
