SURABAYA – Komdis PSSI East Java has officially handed down heavy sentences for five bribers in Liga 3. This is related to the match-fixing case that dragged Gresik Putra FC.

The five people are Yopy Perwira Nusa and Ferry Afrianto. Then, two players from Gresik Putra, Andy Cahya and Hendra Putra Satria, along with a kitman named Desly Galang Ramadani.

The East Java PSSI Komdis also reported David, Billy, Anshory and Bambang Suryo to the East Java Regional Police, they could not be sentenced because they were not part of the football family.

Yopy, who is a man from Surabaya, attempted to bribe in the Liga 3 match between NZR Sumbersari and Gresik Putra FC which was held on November 12, 2021.

In his decision letter, Yopy was sentenced to a fine of Rp. 100 million. This plus a ban on activities in football for 10 years.

Yopy has been determined to have violated Article 64 paragraph 1 of the PSSI Disciplinary Code, the PSSI Disciplinary Code which regulates gambling and betting.

He gave the lure of Rp. 70 million to Rp. 100 million to Gresik Putra in order to give up the match.

According to his confession, Yopy tried to bribe him because it was based on orders from David and Billy.
