That was conveyed by coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He stated that Pogba had suffered a severe injury and hoped that his player would recover soon.

Pogba suffered a thigh injury during training with the France squad. As a result, the 28-year-old player must be absent from the 2022 World Cup qualifiers for the European zone.

Pogba’s injury is also bad news for United. When the team’s performance was not good, especially in the 2021/2022 English League, the Red Devils actually lost one of their flagship players.

Solskjaer says Pogba now needs to be out for 12 weeks. At first he thought the recovery process would not take long. It turned out that his thigh injury was quite severe.

“I would say months rather than weeks. It was a disappointing injury for Paul. I’m not a doctor of course and we can’t say how quickly he will recover,” said Solskjaer.

“Sometimes you expect six or seven weeks but the reality is 10, 11, 12 weeks with a muscle injury like this.”

Furthermore, Solskjaer hopes that the injury suffered by his key player can gradually recover. He also believes Pogba will come back stronger when he has fully recovered from his injury.
