MANCHESTER – Former Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer open the voice regarding his dismissal. The Norwegian tactician is grateful to The Red Devils and hope Cristiano Ronaldo et al achieve better results in the future, after his death.

Solskjaer officially sacked as coach Manchester United , Sunday (11/21/2021) WIB after being defeated by Watford 1-4 in the match week 12 of the 2021/2022 English Premier League, Saturday (20/11/2021) night WIB.

While taking charge of Manchester United in December 2018, Solskjaer won 14 of his 19 games in his first season. The next two seasons United saw steady progress towards qualification in the top four of the Premier League since the first time when Alex Ferguson retired as coach in 2013.

But, throughout his career Ole’s team has not won a trophy at all. The highest achievement is being runner-up in the Europa League after being defeated by Villarreal on penalties. So far, Solskjaer has lost four cup semi-finals.

The former Manchester United player managed to bring home the superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, to Old Trafford this season. Plus Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane in the transfer window this summer.

However, the presence of these players did not bring success. Instead they have lost five of their last seven league games to fall 12 points behind leaders Chelsea.

After receiving his dismissal from the club, the Norwegian expressed his gratitude and respect to those who have helped him during his time as coach.
