The Chicago Bears will play several prime-time games in 2022, including a Week 2 meeting with the Green Bay Packers

The Chicago Bears will announce their 2022 schedule on Thursday night as the NFL releases the full game for the upcoming season.

NFL Network will air the schedule release at 7 p.m. with multiple players, coaches and analysts as guests.

The Bears have identified home and away opponents.

In addition to NFC North games at Soldier Field and on the road against the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions, the Bears will host the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers and Houston Texans. They will head to face the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, New York Jets, New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons.

The dates and times for those games — including how many prime-time games the Bears will play under new coach Matt Eberflux — will be revealed. Details began to leak Thursday morning.

Below are some of the races confirmed by the Tribune or reported by other media, including WSCR-AM 670 host Danny Perkins.

Week 1: Bears 49ers

Week 2: Packers Bears, Sunday, September 18

Week 6: Bears commanders, Thursday, October 13

Week 7: Patriots Bears, Monday 24 October

Week 8: Cowboys Bears, Sunday, October 30

Week 14: goodbye

Once announced, preseason and regular-season single-game tickets will go on sale Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at chicagobears.com/tickets.

In addition to NFL programming, teams typically announce their schedules on social media in creative ways, often in coordination with sponsors. The Bears teamed up with Benjamin Moore in 2021 to create a painting-themed version.

Check back for updates as the game leaks on social media throughout the day.
