The position of the team under him is also quite tight. Bali United is in fourth position with 25 points. While the fifth and sixth positions are occupied by PSIS Semarang and Persebaya Surabaya, who both have 23 points.
Responding to the intense competition at the top, Persib coach Robert Alberts said he was happy. Because, the distance of the champion title hunters are not much different.

“I think the standings are quite competitive with the points value not too far away,” said Robert.
With adjacent points, Persib has a very good chance of shifting Bhayangkara FC at the top of the standings. This is an additional motivation for ‘Maung Bandung’ in looking at the next matches in the competition.
On the other hand, Persib must also increase their vigilance. So, looking good and winning in every match is the main goal. Because, once careless and reaping defeat, Persib’s position could be evicted by other teams under him.
According to him, this condition makes the attractiveness of competition strengthen. Because, so far it can not be predicted who will be the champion. At the same time, the League 1 contestants are equally eager to realize the title.
“This is good for our competition to stay consistent and the competition is getting better in the standings because the points are not too far away,” explained Robert.
Persib has a chance to displace Bhayangkara FC. The closest, Persib will face Arema FC. On the other hand, if they lose, Persib’s position will be shifted by Arema.
