However, Allegri did not want to give way to Chelsea. Juventus will be looking for a win to win the group. The last time Juventus clashed with Chelsea was in late September, with La Vecchia Signora winning 1-0 in Turin thanks to a Federico Chiesa goal early in the second half.

“It’s an important game, in an amazing stadium,” said Allegri. “However, we will play to win the group, not to qualify for the next stage, because we have already achieved that.”

Allegri also hopes that their mainstay striker, Paulo Dybala, can return to action. The Argentine was left out for Roma as the Bianconeri – Juventus’ nickname – beat Lazio 2-0 on Saturday.
