Three Korean women shot at Dallas hair salon

On Wednesday afternoon, a gunman stormed a Dallas hair salon and shot and killed three women, according to reports.

According to WFAA-TV, the shooting occurred just after 2 p.m. at the Hair World Salon, a business located in a shopping mall that is dotted with Asian businesses.

According to KXAS-TV, an unidentified suspect stopped his dark-colored minivan on the six-lane road in front of the square, walked into the store and began yelling incoherently before opening fire.

The gunman reportedly fired at least four shots, hitting the limbs of three victims — the salon owner, an employee and a customer — before fleeing the scene in a waiting vehicle.

According to media reports, the injured women are all South Koreans and are expected to survive, while the suspect, identified by police as black, is still in the wind.

According to KXAS, the motive for the crime was unclear, but police said there was no direct evidence that it was a hate crime.
