With a finish behind Jonathan Rea, Razgatlioglu has secured enough of his status. That is, he became the first rider to tackle Kawasaki Racing’s mainstay since 2015.
Now, Toprak is still at the top of the standings, with a collection of 551 points, while Rea is below it with a collection of 526 points.
In Race 1, Toprak finished in the runner-up position with a difference of 0.670 seconds from Rea who was standing on the first podium.
Rea could have matched the number of Toprak points in the standings in Race 2. However, Toprak still locked the WSBK 2021 title because he has more winning records than Rea.
