Tragedy hits sheepdog, boy dies while cycling

A nine-year-old boy tragically died while cycling in Western Australia’s south-west on Sunday.

It’s unclear exactly how the boy died, but authorities are investigating whether he suffered a medical incident before he fell off his bike.

Police said he was “severely injured” after falling from Collie’s bike at 1.10pm.

Paramedics in St John’s, Western Australia, rushed the little boy to nearby Curley Hospital but were unable to save him.

“About 1.10pm, the boy fell off his bike while cycling east on Medic Street and suffered serious injuries. Sadly, the boy died at the scene shortly after.
