WWE Allegedly Selected ‘New’ Brock Lesnar – Report

Brock Lesnar is a once-in-a-lifetime athlete. Not only is he a terrific in-ring competitor, he’s one of the most recognizable names in the company today. However, it looks like the company has chosen the person they want to fill the company’s position. It was the tribal chief Roman who ruled.

One thing that makes Lesnar special is his limited schedule. His presence had an even bigger impact as he didn’t show up throughout the year. Although the incarnation of the beast only plays a few games a year, it is only because it is associated with his name that it has become a special attraction.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company is trying to make Roman Reigns the next Brock Lesnar. The tribal chief gets a similar treatment to the Beast Avatar in his storyline and contract.

“The idea now seems to be trying to make Raines a new Lesnar, someone who beats everyone and is portrayed at his level, and he’s only working on a limited date,” Meltzer said.

Roman Reigns’ new contract lets him work with fewer dates like Brock Lesnar

Meltzer also noted that Reigns will not appear in any future major shows. He was also pulled from the impending Hell Cage event. The WWE Universal Champion can continue to hold the title despite reduced hours.

“We do know that Reigns is going to be on some PPV shows over the next few months, he’s not going to be on all of the PPV shows, he’s going to be doing Smackdown to build the PPV he’s on, similar to Brock Lesnar or Bill Goldberg will do it, and his name is said to be reappearing in commercials for the show he’s going to star in,” Melzer said.

Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38, unifying the WWE and Universal Championship. The game ended their long rivalry in promotion. Considering the latest developments in the Raines contract, this could be considered a passing moment for the torch.
